Wow there's a pool..

We are so lucky. I'm loving Portugal so far. Turns out we're right near the Spanish border. The weather is gorgeous the beer is cold and the festival can wait till tomorrow :-) x

Or something like that. Liam did Rome, we did Napa and then In the summer of 2011 I was given the opportunity to DJ on the 2nd stage at FIB (Benicasim). It turned out to be one of the most incredible nights of my life and without doubt the best DJ gig ever. We were up against Primal Scream so didn't expect much of a crowd but a reasonable amount of people turned into a huge number of people and by the end it was such a great party atmosphere just crazy! A few weeks later I got a phone call from the organisers of a small festival in Istanbul asking if I'd like DJ there after they'd seen me at Beni. Istanbul was brilliant. Such a gorgeous city and some of the loveliest people I've ever met. We supported James and had a wonderful night. In fact we're going back to play again as the festival get slightly bigger this September. Right now I am in a mini bus somewhere between Porto and Valanca in Portugal on our way to another festival gig booked off the back off that night in Spain last summer. Awesome. We don't know what to expect but our driver Antoni has told us this is the first day of the festival (which started Ono day) it hasn't rained. Oh we don't have wellies. Thankfully we have a lot of Glastonbury experience which should go a long way. We're not on till tomorrow night (Saturday morning at 3am to be exact) but we've come early to experience the festival paredes de coura. So far so gorgeous and we haven't even got to the hotel yet. It's looking good :-) x
